FOR THE WORK
YOU WANT TO DO.
WHY I BUILT REALHAX / ROYCE DAVIS
Ready for
the gig.
I’ve hired and trained graduates of some of the toughest security programs in the industry. Plenty knew the material. Hand them a client gig starting Monday, though, and some still looked like deer in headlights.
Knowing about the work isn’t the same as being ready to do it.
I’m Royce Davis. I built RealHax to give you a place to practice on real infrastructure and a record of the objectives you’ve captured. It’s the platform I wanted as a student and needed as an instructor. That’s the whole idea.
01 / INSIDE THE PLATFORM
Learn it. Run it.
Prove it.
Learn a technique, take it into your own range while the context is fresh, and capture the flag that unlocks the next objective. Rinse and repeat.
01 / INITIAL ACCESS
Every foothold
starts with a question.
What can you reach? What does it expose? Build a picture of the environment before choosing your next move.

Get your hands on the work.
The machines and tools depend on your training. You connect through a browser, with no client to install.
Every flag is personal.
Here’s why that matters.
Your flags are computed for your student identity and session, then planted in your machines. Capture one and submit it: the platform checks your value and records the objective you completed.

02 / PURPOSE-BUILT TRAINING RANGES
Your range.
One browser.
Zero installs.
Each training brings its own cloud range, with machines, tools, and targets selected for the techniques it teaches. You get your own environment to work in.
Open a full desktop or terminal in your browser, on any OS, with no client to install. Your time goes to operating. And the machines you’re asked to break? That’s what they’re here for.
THE COURSE DEFINES THE RANGE.
The environment varies by training.
03 / CHOOSE YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Find the gap.
Work on it.
Start with the techniques you want to get better at. Each training brings its own curriculum and range.
THE WORK IS WHAT MAKES YOU BETTER.
KEEP
THE
PROOF.
I’ll be straight with you: a platform doesn’t make you an expert. Doing the work builds competence, and time makes you good. RealHax gives you a place to practice and a record of what you captured.
